Went to Rakrakan last night. Sponge Cola, Kamikaze and Parokya in Dubai. Great formula for inducing homesickness. I had flashbacks of myself screaming my lungs out in front of the stage in Bahay ng Alumni, all sweaty and high on adrenaline- when in real life, I was quietly swaying and trying to hold back the urge to jump up and down. I wasn't with people I knew, hence the forced "poise." It was fun though. They played from high school to college graduation, and the nostalgia was addictive. In the end, no amount of awkwardness from being OP in a group who knew each other since childhood couldn't stop me from raising my hands and screaming lyrics back at the band.
